Transboundary Haze Pollution in Southeast Asia: Effect and Forest Fire Management in Indonesia
On August 24, 2021, the Resilience Development Initiative (RDI) joined forces with esteemed partners, including Lancaster University, the University of Malaya, Institut Pertanian Bogor, and the World Resource Institute, to host a pivotal webinar titled “Transboundary Haze Pollution in Southeast Asia: Effects and Forest Fire Management in Indonesia.”
The primary aim of this event was to provide a robust platform for in-depth discussions centered on critical aspects of forest fire disaster risk management and community-driven initiatives. This webinar not only spotlighted the challenges associated with forest fire preparedness, mitigation, and response in Indonesia but also fostered a cross-border dialogue on these pressing issues.
