Background:
Gender-based violence persists due to gender-based discrimination, inequitable gender norms, and imbalanced power dynamics. Prevention+ is a five-year multi-country program that addresses the root causes of GBV by promoting healthy masculinities based on equality, caregiving, and non-violence. It is funded under the FLOW budget and runs from 2016-2020.
Aims and Objectives:
To provide insight into the progress of the and to inform strategic decisions on the way forward in the remaining two years of the Prevention+ program.
Scope:
The evaluation will assess the implementation of the Prevention+ project and provide recommendations for program implementation. The evaluation will consider the project’s contributions to ending gender-based violence in Indonesia and the targeted regions (Lampung and Yogyakarta).
Methodology:
– Data collection: interviews, FGD, observation, documentation studies.
– Data analysis: 3 approaches (data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion or verification).
