RISYE DWIYANI  is a  Co-founder and Volunteer Researcher of RDI-UREF since 2018. RDI-UREF was established under the Children, Social Welfare and Health Cluster (CSWH) in the Resilience Development Initiative (RDI), where it focuses on research and activities in the context of urban refugees in transit countries, particularly Indonesia. Her interest is primarily but not limited to the disaster risk management area. She is also an Urban and DRM Consultant at the Social, Urban, Rural, and Resilience Global Practice, World  Bank, Indonesia for almost 10 years. working closely with the Indonesia Ministry of Public Works and Housing in the PNPM Urban (National Community Empowerment Program in Urban Areas), Neighborhood Development (spatial and integrated planning piloting under PNPM Urban), KOTAKU (Kota Tanpa Kumuh, meaning ‘cities without slums’) collaborative platform, and KOTAKU-DFAT (pilot under DFAT Australia Grant, strengthening Gender Equality & Social Inclusion and disaster risk management mainstreaming in KOTAKU) programs
