Capacity Building
The Resilience Development Initiative (RDI) employs Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) as a dynamic and participatory approach to gain valuable insights and perspectives on resilience-building strategies. FGDs bring together a diverse group of individuals, fostering open and constructive discussions about the challenges faced in building resilience at various levels – from personal to community-based. Through facilitated discussions, RDI gathers collective wisdom, experiences, and ideas from participants, allowing for the identification of common patterns and innovative solutions. The findings from these FGDs serve as a crucial foundation for designing tailored resilience programs and interventions that address the specific needs and aspirations of the participants. Involving stakeholders at the heart of the process, FGDs in RDI create a collaborative and empowering space, ensuring that resilience development initiatives are relevant, impactful, and responsive to the real-life challenges people encounter.
