Research Interest:
Public space discourses of the developing countries in various urban condition (relevant to climate change, disaster-sensitive context, the pressure of globalisation/modernisation/developmentalism and the postcolonial influences)
Housing and human settlement problems of the developing countries in various urban condition (relevant to climate change, disaster-sensitive context and the pressure of globalisation/modernisation/developmentalism)
The production and construction of urban space and local appropriation of space in urban context of the developing countries
The discourse of built-environmental projects in urban resiliency and participatory design & planning
Colonial and postcolonial urbanisms of Asia, particularly in Indonesian urban context.
