Sandro Armanda has recently graduated (magna cum laude) from KU Leuven in Belgium with a master’s degree in Architecture. His specialisations are in urban design and urban cultures. He is currently working on his funding proposal for my potential PhD research project under the supervision of Professor Martino Tattara (KU Leuven). If everything goes according to plan, I will start my PhD by the end of this year. His research project investigates the relationships between architecture and territories where infrastructures development play a key role in the dynamics. His research project focuses on this particular phenomenon in the areas along the Great Post Road in Java.
