HKBN 2018 and Disaster Preparedness Game

On April 26, 2018, RDI hosted a half-day seminar as part of the National Disaster Day events, an initiative spearheaded by the National Agency for Disaster Management of Indonesia and various other disaster-related institutions. The seminar was a significant component of these disaster preparedness activities and concluded with a group photo session featuring the hashtag #HKBN2018 and the slogan "SIAP UNTUK SELAMAT," signifying readiness for safety.

During this informative session on disaster preparedness, Mr. Avianto Amri introduced the "PREDIKT" board game. This board game serves as an engaging educational tool designed to impart disaster-related information to children through a game format reminiscent of a ladder and snake board game. Notably, the development of this board game stemmed from Mr. Anto's research undertaken during his dissertation at Macquarie University in Australia.

This event served as an invaluable opportunity for RDI to share knowledge and insights on disaster preparedness with its network. Furthermore, it provided a platform to delve into topics related to educational research within the context of the seminar, contributing to a broader understanding of disaster resilience and education.
