Summary

Umar Al Faruq is a researcher at Resilience Development Initiative (RDI) and currently serve as its Outreach Manager. He is a fast learner, works well under pressure, and a team player and is looking to build on his skills pertaining to urban planning, sustainable development, and community empowerment. His background in urban and regional planning has enabled his work at RDI to flourish, maintaining its social aspects into resilience research which proved to be essential. He is currently working in the Infrastructure and Urban Governance cluster, although most of his work lies also in other clusters.
