Over the years, Dr. Adilla’s research interests centre around the process development of bio-sorbents and applications in carbon dioxide capture; primarily within the Environmental Impact and Management research field. Indeed, the research finding demonstrates the potential of developed bio-sorbent in gas phase applications; significantly better than commercial material. She also has an interest in the field of agricultural and industrial waste valorization (agricultural/industrial) to value-added material. Due to the novelty and significance of my research area, the overall work has been cited for >900 (SCOPUS) with a corresponding h-index of 13. The seminal contribution of my research work has also been acknowledged by the scientific community; by being the Finalist in the YSN-ASM Rising Star Award 2019, Finalist in the IChemE Malaysia Young Researcher Award (2017), and Sustainable Technology Award (2013), and Recipient of the Silver medal in the ITEX 2013
