The 12th National Conference on Community-based Disaster Risk Management

The conference organized by Indonesian Society for Disaster Management (MPBI). This conference is the twelfth conference which started in 2004. The conference held for three day and each day had different type of discussion.

First day, begin with presentation of key speaker and discussion about general information about  activity and policy related to community resilience from government and non-government organization.

Second day, the discussion talked about social protection, asset protection, child and family protection, and also health protection. The discussion was held parallelly  One of keynote speakers was from RDI, Mr. Avianto Amri, talked about Household Preparedness Plan.

At third day, there were field study to one of village in jayagiri and also visit Sekolah Juara in Bandung. After that, we discuss about results of Asia Ministerial Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction (AMCDRR) in india. In the end of conference, there was a declaration as a result of this conference.

The conference is opportunity to RDI to more known in communities that interested in disaster risk reduction especially the practitioners, NGO, and INGO who have experienced in DRR and Emergency Response.
