Visit to Saung Angklung Udjo

On Monday, 8 October 2017, RDI researchers and intern from Italy, Marta Mori, went to Saung Angklung Udjo to watch angklung performance. This event is part of internalization activities between RDI and its interns. Saung Angklung Udjo itself is a popular culture based tourist attraction in Bandung. It was established in 1966 with the aim of being the center of bamboo handicrafts in Bandung, West Java. As a popular tourist attraction, Saung Angklung Udjo not only selling performing arts, traditional bamboo musical products (angklung, arumba, calung and other) are made and sold to buyers.
