On Monday, 23rd of July, RDI staff members attended a joint review of past researches conducted by OXFAM located in the latter's head office. The review was done to provide more information regarding one of the research project which involved exploring the current state of land conflict problems in Seluma, Bengkulu and Banggai, Central Sulawesi, and how their respective communities utilize village fund provided by the Government to increase their resilience over lengthy land conflict. Several recommendations related to the development of the Village Fund and their opportunities were discussed. Another key issue that was also discussed was widening the conventional perspective of resolving land conflict itself, particularly in seeking advocacy from the local government. To do so, conducting interviews to several organizations that are well versed in land conflict advocacy could enrich, broaden, and even challenge conventional perspective.
