DiBiCoo Virtual Study Tour Series and Matchmaking Workshop

After the series of stakeholder workshops and capacity-building training conducted, DiBiCoo networking actions continue with the series of study tours and matchmaking workshops. The study tours and matchmaking workshop were organized for business delegations, interested stakeholders, and project partners to European and target countries.

            For the DiBiCoo Virtual Study Tour, DiBiCoo's partners produced pre-recorded videos of biogas plants (in English and German versions) for viewing, together with a web seminar to discuss operating details on 7th October and 18th November 2021. These events enabled stakeholders from target countries to see existing technologies in operation virtually and to learn more about the technologies with developers through discussion sessions facilitated in web seminars.  The first DiBiCoo Virtual Study Tour offered a deep insight into three different concepts of anaerobic digestion through a virtual study tour of three biogas plants in Austria and Germany. Meanwhile the second virtual study tour offered a deep insight into 3 different concepts of wood gasification. The speakers at the event namely, Bernadette Mauthner from Biogas Bruck/Leitha GmbH & Co KG, Josef Hockner from BioG GmbH, Wolfgang Felsberger from Urbas Energietechnik, and Bernard Kirchmayr from Froling Heizkessel- und Behalterbau GmbH.

        Meanwhile, In the DiBiCoo project, stakeholders' networking was facilitated through three matchmaking events. The objective of these events was to bring together all stakeholders in the field of biogas and gasification to stimulate cooperation and new projects in the biogas sector. The event brought three interesting European companies to present their technologies and services as the first session in the matchmaking event. One of the speakers was Alexey Mozgovoy from PlanET Biogastechnik, who discussed Green Gas allrounder

Apart from facilitating knowledge sharing and direct networking with biogas technology companies, this event was also a soft launching event for DiBiCoo digital matchmaking tool, "Biogas and Gasification Matchmaking Platform" (biogasplatform.eu). In the platform, there are two main sections: Company Profile and Business Opportunities. Company Profile consists of registered companies' general profile and services. Meanwhile, business opportunities are created for biogas project developers to post inquiries on  technology or asistances as well as f services and/or products offered. This platform is still currently open for companies and biogas industry players to showcase their company profiles and publicize new business opportunities or inquiries.
