RDI Presented at The Inception Conference 2022: "Realizing Inclusive Recovery from the COVID-19 Pandemic"

RDI, as a global think tank, was highly honored to be a part of The Inception Conference 2022: "Realizing Inclusive Recovery from the COVID-19 Pandemic". This conference was held by The Think20 (T20), which is the official engagement group of G20^[1] that brings together leading think tanks and research centers worldwide. It serves as the ‘ideas bank’ of the G20 and aims to provide research-based policy recommendations to the G20 leaders.

Day 1 - February, 9th, 2022

The opening remark has been given by Prof. Bambang Brodjonegoro as the Lead Co-Chair of T20 Indonesia. Then, it was followed by a presentation from Our Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dra. Retno Marsudi, as the keynote speaker. The first session’s theme was Maintaining Sustainability & Global Cooperation in Recovery Agenda. The honored speakers who presented were Mari Elka Pangestu (Managing Director of Development Policy & Partnership, World Bank), and Jeffrey Sachs (Director of Center of Sustainable Development, Columbia University). In the next session, the theme was Global Health Architecture and Financing. Indonesia’s Minister of Health, Ir. Budi Gunadi Sadikin was also participating as the keynote speaker for this session. There were also other honorable panelists who discussed this topic. Overall, the discussions on the first day of conference were full of insightful knowledges and perspectives.
