Sub-National Validation Workshops on the Implementation of Adaptive Social Protection Strategies (ASP)

On 13 March 2023, RDI Research Officers, Medhiansyah Putra Prawira, Fadilah Fitri Arsy and Eri Krismianingsih organized a Validation Workshop on the Sub National Implementation Strategy for Adaptive Social Protection (ASP) in West Nusa Tenggara. This workshop was attended and supported by Dr. Dinar Kharisma from the National Development Planning Agency (Ministry of National Development Planning/National Development Agency of Republic Indoensia) and Annisa Srikandini from United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF Indonesia).

The purpose of the validation workshop is to present the Initial Draft of the ASP Implementation Strategy at the Sub National Level that has been developed as well as obtain input from relevant stakeholders for the improvement and development of the ASP Implementation in West Nusa Tenggara.

In this workshop, there was presentations from RDI research officers to present the overview, issues as well as a proposed framework for each ASP Pillars Implementation Strategy (Institutional Arrangements & Partnership, Program & Distribution System, Data & Information and Financing) in West Nusa Tenggara

This workshop was attended by several stakeholders namely Regional Development Agency, Regional Disaster Management Agency, Social Services Agency, Manpower & Transmigration Agency, Environmental Services Agency, Education and Culture Services Agency, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Forum, and others.
