Workshop “Location Based Decision Making: Geospatial Solution to Enhance Sustainable Development Goals” by Esri Indonesia

On Saturday, 18 November 2017, RDI researchers, M. Musyafa Syahbid, went to University Indonesia to attend workshop geospatial by Esri Indonesia. The workshop theme was Location Based Decision Making: Geospatial Solution to Enhance Sustainable Development Goals. This Event opened by Sharing session from Mamat Suhermat, BAPPEDA DEPOK Regency and Fitria Wahit, GIS Specialist from USAID. The speakers covered topics that help the participant to understand GIS (Geospatial Information System) as an analysis tools in their organization to make a decision. Then, the event continued by workshop “Bring together map, app, data and people to make smarter decisions” by Ramdhani Fajri, Solution Engineer in Esri Indonesia. Overall the workshop has been a beneficial platform to enhance knowledge community related GIS (Geospatial Information System) and location based as a tool to improve the decision making.
