In the wake of the catastrophic tropical cyclone, Seroja, that struck East Nusa Tenggara on April 5, 2021, Resilience Development Initiative (RDI), in collaboration with esteemed partners including Charles Darwin University, Widya Mandira Catholic University, Kupang State Polytechnic, Nusa Cendana University, and the Institute of Resource Governance and Social Change, organised a pivotal webinar.
The event underscored the importance of further studies on cyclones to enhance community resilience. Collaboration among various stakeholders was emphasised as essential to achieving safety and comfort in community living. Mitigation measures were highlighted as crucial steps toward ensuring the well-being of affected communities.
