The Adaptive Social Protection (ASP) approach is vital for responding to natural disasters in Indonesia. RDI participated in a three-day Local Government Capacity Building Training for ASP Schemes organised by the Ministry of National Development Planning in February 2023. The training covered key ASP objectives, principles, and stakeholders. Discussions included aligning ASP with social systems and detailed financial planning. Case studies and action plans were also presented. This training aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of ASP, with further exploration and evaluation planned in an upcoming workshop in March 2023.
