Background:
NTT Province in Indonesia is a drought-prone province affected by El Nino since 2015, affecting agriculture productivity and water scarcity. Save the Children has implemented a Cash Distribution Program in 13 villages in West Sumba District and 8 villages in Belu district to address these gaps. As a follow-up, they have developed a Contingency Plan for the drought and conducted community awareness on education, nutrition, and ELNino information during cash distribution.
Aims and Objectives:
– To see changes that happen as a result of the project and what improves and changes after El Nino Emergency Response intervention
– To assess the effectiveness of the project in achieving its intended results.
– To assess the relevance and sustainability of outputs as contributions to medium-term and longer-term outcomes.
Scope:
The evaluation will assess the implementation of the ENER project. The evaluation will consider the project’s contributions to DRR in NTT and the targeted districts (Sumba and Belu).
Methodology:
A qualitative approach assesses the project’s results to assess changes before and after the program. The evaluator will maximize the use of triangulation data analysis (primary data, secondary data, and observation).
