Background :
The El Niño exacerbated drought conditions and created significant water supply shortages for vulnerable populations. The American Red Cross proposed to provide assistance to drought-affected populations and improve PMI disaster response capacity. The project has focused on targeting drought-affected communities through strategic intervention in the following 5 provinces East Java, Central Java, West Java, and East Nusa Tenggara.
