Water & Waste Management
The Water and Waste Management (WWM) sector primarily addresses water management concerns, including Water and Sanitation Hygiene (WASH) and Integrated Water Resource Management (IWRM). Additionally, WWM is actively involved in tackling waste and pollution problems, encompassing water pollution, air pollution, and solid waste management. Some of our ongoing projects comprise WASH in Humanitarian Response, Resilient Water Management through Nature-based Solutions, Climate Change and Air Pollution, Waste to Energy, Waste Minimization, and Circular Economy initiatives.
Our vision to enhance research in water and waste management is clearly outlined in our roadmap. We aim to delve deeper into water, waste, and pollution issues with the ultimate goal of enhancing resilience and sustainability. Presently, our flagship project, in collaboration with C40 Cities and Jakarta Environmental Agency, is the Jakarta Air Quality Monitoring.
