Hygiene management in school can be a problem including availability of school health facilities and mechanism or standard operating procedure (SOP) to protect children from gender-based violence in schools (SRGBV). Knowledge of children related to hygiene managements in school are mainly focused on menstrual hygiene or signs of puberty, which supporting facilities in many schools are not in good quality. For girls, the management of menstruation in school is still a challenge. This is because majority of female students felt uncomfortable to replace menstrual-pad in school due to several things such as inadequate toilets, the absence of a special garbage dump for menstrual-pad, and other inadequate facilities. This school hygine management research is endavour to help schools in the preparation of SOPs for gender-based violence as well as identifying obstacles to maintaining school health and hygiene facilities.
