| "Integrated Concept of Community Resilience in Indonesia"
| Herryal Z. Anwar is currently working at the Research Center for Geotechnology, Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI), completing a degree program at the ITB, master at the University of Auckland, New Zealand, and a doctorate at the University of Kyushu, Japan. He is now active in the field of disaster, particularly in the field of natural disaster risk assessments. He has been involved in the cooperation between Indonesia and Germany in 2006-2009 within the activities of GITEWS (Germany Indonesian Tsunami Early Warning System), to study on vulnerability and disaster risk in a number of regions in Indonesia which is integrated with the development of a tsunami early warning system in Indonesia. Now, he is the LIPI Coordinator for competitive activities in the field of Disaster and Environment.

Ida Ansharyani, M.Si ( PhD Can. Rutgers Univ.)

| Ida Ansharyani is a PhD Candidate at Geography Department, Rutgers University, New Jersey, USA. She got her master degree in Evironmental Science, University of Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta, and her bachelor degree in Geological Engineering, University of Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Yogyakarta. She is the Co-founder and Program Manager of Penjaga Pulau Community (The Guardian of the Island Community), a local community in Sumbawa Island that concerns with environmental education and conservation (Apr 2009-present). She is also a lecturer at Universitas Samawa, Sumbawa Besar, NTB (2009-Present). Her latest publication was Marine Conservation Education Module for Senior High School. The module was socialized and used in Sumbawa and Wakatobi, 2014, funded by USAID.

| Elisabeth Rianawati is a senior researcher and the director of Resilience Development Initiative (RDI), an Indonesian think tank that focuses on environmental change and sustainable development. She has published in a number of international journals, among others: Physics and Chemistry of the Earth Environ. Sci. Technol. She also likes to disseminate and build networks with other researchers through attending national and international conferences. While her background is on environmental engineering, she has developed her passions on social aspects of environmental and risk management. Her main interest is social-ecological resilience, climate change adaptation, resilience and adaptive capacity, water management.

Iwan Gunawan (WorldBank)
| "Urban Resilience Approaches in Indonesia: Progress and Challenges"
| As the Senior Disaster Risk Management Specialist in Indonesia, Iwan Gunawan coordinates the World Bank's portfolio on disaster and climate risk prevention, response, recovery, as well as post-disaster financing in the country. The Disaster Risk Management (DRM) team that he leads integrates disaster and climate-change risk reduction in development work, through building components and activities into relevant World Bank programs that would strengthen the project's resilience against catastrophes. Gunawan also leads a support program to boost the capacity of disaster management agencies at the national and sub-national level to manage disaster risks, through a combination of prevention, mitigation, effective response, sustainable recovery, and risk financing. Iwan holds a Doctoral Degree in Regional Science/Geography from Texas A&M University in the US, as well as a Master of Science in Engineering Science from Louisiana State University in the US, and a Bachelor's Degree in Geodetic Engineering from Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia

Dr. Saut Sagala (ITB)

| Dr. Saut Sagala is a lecturer at the School of Architecture, Planning and Policy Development, Institute of Technology Bandung (ITB), Bandung, Indonesia since 2009. He has a lot of research experience in the field of regional planning, disaster risk management and climate change adaptation. Today he is the editorial team at the ASEAN Engineering Journal in the field of natural disasters (2013-2018) and the Journal of Geography Forum (since 2013). Saut completed his undergraduate education in Regional and Urban Planning Institute of Technology Bandung (2001), master degree at the International Institute for Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation ITC, The Netherlands (2006), and doctorate at the University of Kyoto, Japan (2009). In addition to formal education, he joined many short courses in various countries related to environmental issues, including in the Netherlands, Germany, Japan, China and the United States. Saut currently being active in the field of renewable energy policy in rural and urban energy security of the urban resilience.

| Ayu Krishna is a senior researcher at Resilience Development Initiative (RDI) focusing on gender studies, geopark development, tourism, conservation and environmental management. At RDI, she is in charge as a chair for research cluster of tourism and cultural heritage (TCH). Ayu has had about 15 years working as researchers and consultants for national and international clients. She also teaches at Indonesia Education University, Bandung. Ayu has received a lot of research grants from Indonesian Government through Ministry of Education. More recently, she helps Geo-Park Merangin in Jambi to be assessed as one of Geo Parks in Indonesia and in relation to that she presents her paper at an International Conference in Canada (2014).
